Founded in 1773, the Charleston Museum is the oldest museum in the United States. Upon arrival you will see a full-scale replica of the Confederate States submarine Hunley. Charleston's history is reflected in wonderful collections of clothing, furniture, silver, games, vehicles, photographs and more. There is a "Discover Me" room for children.

This popular museum is home of the famous WWII aircraft carrier, YORKTOWN. You will also see the submarine CLAMAGORE, destroyer LAFFEY, Coast Guard Cutter INGHAM. There are vintage aircraft and weapons on display.
