The Charleston Riverdogs Baseball
The Riverdogs were born in 1994. For 57 years our teams played at College Park, but in 1998 a new state of the art stadium was constructed on the banks of the Ashley River called Joe Riley Park, affectionately dubbed "The Joe". Under the direction of Michel Veeck, son of the famous Chicago White Sox owner, Bill Veeck, baseball is fun again!

South Carolina Stingrays Hockey
If you like hockey, you'll love our Stingrays! The Stingrays were born in 1993 and are in the Southeast Division of the Southern Conference. Since 1993 they have been coached by Rick Vaive and have several honors to their credit. 1997-98 Southeast Division Champions, 1996-97 East Division Champions among them.

The Charleston Battery Soccer
The Battery came into existence in 1997 as a new team in the ever-growing USISL outdoor league. The USISL now has 139 teams and 5 separate leagues. Following a historic win in 1996, The Battery finished second in the Atlantic Division and was accepted into the Division II A-League playing in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference.
